Children’s classes offer low class sizes and a flexible creative environment. All materials are provided unless specified and our teaching artists art professionals with full background checks and extensive teaching experience.
Enjoy multi-media workshops including art you can wear, pottery, painting and more! Classes range from 1.5 – 4.0 hour time increments. During your child’s art class they will create multiple projects in your theme choice and explore creative problem solving. All classes work on art concepts and building confidence in art skills.

Koi Pond Clay Creations (7 and up)
Create a plate on the pottery wheel and colorful koi fish to swim around the pond. Clay will be glazed in this workshop and project pick up will follow in 3-4 weeks after firing.

Graffiti Name Painting (7 and up)
Sketch your own name designs in graffiti and pick your favorite to design on a canvas. Talk about what colors would compliment each other as well as other design elements such as line, texture, and shape.

Metal Repousse Masks (7 and up)
The term “repousse” means “to push out” in French and refers to the metal tooling technique used to decorate intricate designs. Create patterned animal masks in metal, add color in sharpie. Detail in feathers and gems.

Piggy Banks in Clay (7 and up)
Create an animal piggy bank from two pinch pots. Add legs, faces, ears and turn your animal into a small bank with a coin slot and cork for coin removal. Clay will be glazed in this workshop and project pick up will follow in 3-4 weeks after firing.

Clay Turkey Bowls
(ages 6 and up)
Learn to create a pinch pot for the body of your turkey that can also be used as a bowl. Create a clay turkey with colorful feathers, head and wings. Pottery will be glazed during this workshop. Clay is available to pick up 3-4 weeks after the workshop date, before Thanksgiving.

Sport Figures in Motion (7 and up)
A basic simplified approach to figure drawing using cylinder figures to begin. Draw and shade your form, add clothes and / or equipment or backgrounds.

Holiday Plates on the Pottery Wheel and Candy Cane Mugs
(ages 6 and up)
Enjoy a day of clay. Spin a plate on the pottery wheel and sculpt a coil candy cane mug and ornament. Projects will be glazed the day of the workshop. Decorate a gift bag for these one of a kind items. Projects will be ready to be picked up 3-4 weeks later, before the holidays. Bring a sack lunch.

Mosaic Frames for the Holidays
(Adult / Tweens 11 +)
Create a blue, white, gold, red or green mosaic picture frame from cut glass tesserae. Learn to cut and arrange your mosaic in your one of a kind pattern. One the first night students will plan out and glue their projects. One the second night we will gather and grout your final pieces. These will be ready to take after the second workshop and a great gift for the holidays.
