Do I have to have to have any previous art experience to take a class at the Art Lab?

No! Art Lab classes encourage all students to learn something new, but previous experience is not required. We believe everyone can be an artist and individual expression is encouraged while learning new skills.

I am uncertain about leaving my child with a new teacher, can I stay and observe?

Parents are welcome and invited to stay and observe or wait for their child in the adjoining waiting room. Children’s classes will always have one teacher and one assistant. We are happy to address any concerns parents may have.

How old does my child have to be to be dropped off for an art class?

Children must be 5 years old to enroll with out a parent in an Art Lab class. Children ages 3-5 are welcome at drop in activities with a participating parent.
