Summer camps will keep your child busy with creative activities and problem solving throughout the week. Our low class sizes and flexible creative environment make learning individual to all students. All materials are provided and our teaching artists are professionals with full background checks and extensive teaching experience.
Camps run daily throughout the week.

June 8 -12
Mixed Media Inspired by Nature at St. Richard’s School
AM ONLY Drawing and Painting Inspired by Nature Grades 1-6 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM $156 / week
PM ONLY Pottery Inspired by Nature Grades 1-6 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM $156 / week
ALL DAY Both Half Day Camps Grades 1-6 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM $290 Full Day / week
Two half-day Art Lab camps can be taken together or all on their own. Each day will focus on a particular animal and habitat. Each morning students will create drawings and a 9” x 12” canvas paintings inspired by the animals they are learning about. At the end of the week they will have a whole gallery of artwork for their room! Spend the afternoon making animals, birdhouses and try out the pottery wheel with Mrs. Bell.

Sparkle and Shine Mosaic, Clay and More

Two half-day Art Lab camps can be taken together or all on their own. In the morning we’ll create 3-D art-works that shine including picture frames with glass mosaic shapes, pottery with shiny glazes, sparkly sunglasses, mobiles and more. In the afternoon campers will discuss what things really make them smile. Campers will discuss their favorite things and create collage and painted 9 x 12” canvases everyday that can be bedazzled with glitter, glitter paint, sequins, shinny gems and more.

Fashion Design by Mrs. Bell
Grades 3 – 8 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM $320 / week
Always popular Fashion Design Camp includes a mix of new and old favorite design projects for grades 3 – 8. Fashionistas will learn a mix of sewing techniques including being able to use the sewing machine. Campers will stamp, painting and tie-dye fabrics as well as restyle and repurpose clothes they chose from Jo Ann Fabrics and The Salvation Army on a field trip. Campers will create a runway project and construct three complete fashion looks for an end of camp runway show.

Mixed Media Arts Inspired by Nature 5-7yrs
10:00 – 12:00pm $125.00 / week
Create a variety of drawings, paintings and ceramic work inspired by animals. Young artists will learn about animals and where they live, what they eat and how they behave. Each day will be a new animal and media.
Location: The Art Studio of Carmel
Mixed Media Arts Inspired by Nature 7-12yrs
1:00 – 4:00pm $150.00 / week
Learn to draw and shade your favorite animals using watercolor pencils, pastels and watercolor paint. Also create a canvas of your favorite animal to hang in your home. Children will get to use the pottery wheel and create animal bowls or mugs. Where do your favorite animals live, eat and how can you take care of them?
